Applications are open for Chevening scholarships for students who wish to do a master’s programme from the UK. The programme provides full or part funding for full-time courses at the postgraduate level, normally a one-year master’s degree in any subject and at any UK university.
Chevening scholarships cover tuition fees, a living allowance at a set rate (for one individual), an economy class return airfare to the UK and additional grants to cover essential expenditure. Some scholarships cover part of the cost of studying in the UK; for example, tuition fees only or allowances only.
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after your scholarship has ended. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a post-graduate programme at a UK university. You must apply to three different eligible UK university courses and receive an offer from one of these choices and meet the Chevening English language requirement. There are approximately 1,500 Chevening scholarships on offer globally.
A Chevening Scholarship is tenable for 12 months only but may terminate sooner in circumstances where your course is less than one year in length.
