The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) 2019 will be held on April 21. The decision was taken in a meeting of the central admissions committee on Tuesday. AKTU vice-chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak chaired the meeting.
Officials said application forms for the examination are available online.
Meanwhile, AKTU, the biggest technical university in the state, has decided to provide reservation for students from the economically weaker section (EWS) from the upcoming academic session. Varsity registrar NL Singh said, “Students who wish to avail of reservation under EWS can opt for it in the admission form, which is available online.”
Reportedly, the EWS option was unavailable earlier. Varsity officials said students who had filled up the form earlier could make the correction till March 28. The admissions committee also decided to move the last day of filling up the online application form from March 15 to March 25.
It was also decided that counselling for admissions would be held in three phases from this year.
