What happened last time

In the 2016 West Bengal Legislative Assembly Election, there were 10 candidates in the fray from Entally constituency. Entally was one of 211 seats won by the Communist Party Of India (Marxist). All India Trinamool Congress's Swarna Kamal Saha won the election upstaging Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s Debesh Das by a margin of 27,988 votes.

The top three candidates split 96.4% of votes between them. All India Trinamool Congress's Swarna Kamal Saha got a total of 75,841 votes, while Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s Debesh Das secured 47,853 votes. Bharatiya Janta Party's candidate Sudhir Kumar Pandey grabbed the third spot with 14,682 votes. The top three parties got 52.8%, 33.3% and 10.2% respectively.

In West Bengal Assembly election 2011, All India Trinamool Congress's Swarna Kamal Saha beat Communist Party Of India (MARXIST)'s Debesh Das by 24,996 votes.
