West Bengal Election: Raghunathpur Assembly Constituency 2022

Raghunathpur is one of the 294 West Bengal Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Puruliya district. West Bengal Assembly Election 2021 for Raghunathpur was held on March 27 and the result was declared on May 2.

In 2016, 6 candidates were contesting for Raghunathpur assembly constituency seat. Raghunathpur was one of 211 seats won by the Communist Party Of India (Marxist). All India Trinamool Congress's Purna Chandra Bauri won the election by defeating Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s Satyanarayan Bauri by a margin of 16,142 votes.

93.8% of the total votes were casted to top three candidates. All India Trinamool Congress's Purna Chandra Bauri grabbed a total of 83,688 votes, while Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s Satyanarayan Bauri got 67,546 votes. Bharatiya Janta Party's candidate Subhas Chandra Mondal bagged 24,912 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 44.6%, 36.0% and 13.3% respectively.

In West Bengal Assembly election 2011, All India Trinamool Congress's Purna Chandra Bauri beat Communist Party Of India (MARXIST)'s Dipali Bauri by 12,743 votes.
