When we contacted the filmmaker (currently in the US), he said, “I’m serious about casting Shweta in my next film. Vishal Bhardwaj is an old friend. So I’d seen Makdee (Vishal’s directorial) in a rough-cut stage, and realised what an incredible actor Shweta is.”

Apart from Makdee, Shweta’s acting was also hailed in Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal (2005).
