The reasons for a bitter break up between actors John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who parted ways over two years ago, were not known yet. Now, a friend of John has hinted that it was Bipasha’s alleged fling with actor Josh Hartnett that led to the split.

“Bips had a much-publicised fling with Josh while the two were shooting for Singularity. The way Bipasha accused John of cheating deeply hurt him. He wants to move on and hopes Bips stop making false allegations,”John’s friend was quoted as telling a Mumbai tabloid.
