Sobhita Dhulipala and Kalki 2898 AD have a connection that goes way deeper than just those quick cameos. In the Telugu version of the film, directed by Nag Ashwin, Sobhita lent her voice to Deepika Padukone's character, Sumathi. Word on the street is that Sobhita dubbed Deepika's lines, which was confirmed when the director gave Sobhita a big shout-out in the opening credits. The Made in Heaven actor added more drama to the situation by posting a picture of the cue card that expressed gratitude. She wrote "Sweetest" in the caption and tagged the Kalki 2898 AD team. Telugu is Sobhita's mother tongue.

As per the film's team, the multilingual 3D spectacle has entered the ₹500 crore club within four days of its global release.
