Neena Gupta recalls 'traumatic' incident where burning man charged towards her and baby Masaba: 'Behen madad karo'

Neena Gupta during the launch event of her autobiography told Kareena Kapoor a 'traumatic' story about how she and Masaba Gupta 'saved' each other's lives once upon a time.

Kareena Kapoor Khan on Monday launched actor Neena Gupta's autobiography. Neena said that she was convinced that only Kareena should launch the book, titled Sach Kahun Toh, as she feels that both as an actor and a mother, Kareena is an 'inspiration'.

Kareena Kapoor highlighted a story from the book, in which Neena Gupta said that she and Masaba saved each other's lives during the shoot of Tipu Sultan.

Elaborating on the story, Neena said, "It was a very traumatic experience. So they were doing my wedding scene in the series, Masaba was one-and-a-half years old. We were in a one-room flat. That day Masaba had a little fever. I didn't take her to the makeup room because the walls were wet. I just wanted her to be within sight."

Neena said that she wouldn't have gone back to the makeup room had it not been for Masaba. She concluded the chat by expressing her gratitude for all the success that she's had.
