Randhir Kapoor says he loves his grandkids 'more than Kareena and Karisma' as he gets special card from Taimur

Randhir Kapoor featured as a guest on Indian Idol 12, where he received a special card from his grandson Taimur Ali Khan.

Randhir Kapoor will appear as a special guest on Indian Idol 12. During the episode, which has already been shot, Randhir received a handmade card from his grandson, Taimur Ali Khan.

"I love you, Nana. Take Care,” the card read, according to a new report. Randhir also said that he loves his grandchildren more than his daughters, actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor.

A leading daily quoted him as saying, “Thank you very much for sharing this with me, thank you very much. After the shoot, I will directly go and meet him. Just like how every grandparent loves their grandkids more (asal se zyada sood pasand hai), similarly, I love my grandchildren more than Karisma and Kareena. Because they are my grand-kids.” Randhir is grandfather to Taimur and Jeh, and Karisma's kids Sameira and Kiaan.

It was Randhir who accidentally shared a picture of his youngest grandchild, Jeh, on social media, only to delete it. And it was Randhir who first revealed the child's name. Kareena and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, have been careful about not revealing Jeh's face on social media, after the backlash and media scrutiny they had to endure after Taimur's birth.

Kareena in an old interview admitted that Randhir wasn't around much when she and Karisma were growing up and that they were raised by their mother, Babita. Speaking with Mumbai Mirror about their financial condition before Karisma became a star, Kareena had said, “Mum was always doing something, she single-handedly brought us up. She has a real estate business apart from other small businesses. It was tough. Though my father is also an important factor in my life.”
