Former Roadies judge Rajiv Lakshman once got pranked into believing that none other that Sanjay Dutt had called him with an offer. Here's what happened.

Prankster Rohit Gupta managed to convince former Roadies judge Rajiv Lakshman, the brother of Raghu Ram, that Sanjay Dutt was calling him with an offer to collaborate on a show. Video footage of the prank call was shared online in 2019.

Rajiv Lakshman was pranked by Rohit Gupta, who mimicked Sanjay Dutt on a call.

Sanjay Dutt, one of Hindi cinema's most enduring stars, turns 62 on Thursday. In the video, Rohit, mimicking Sanjay, called Rajiv with an offer. During the course of the call, he got a visibly excited Rajiv to perform 'pranayama' and discuss a viagra idea with him before he revealed the truth, following which Rajiv abruptly cut the call and later demanded that the video not be shared online.

Rohit said that Rajiv's wife was in on the prank, and was in fact the one who filmed his side of the conversation. After learning that he'd been played, Rajiv cut the call. Later, Rohit called him back, and got told off.

In a follow-up video, Rohit and Rajiv sat together, having seemingly buried the hatchet, and discussed the incident. Rajiv said that he'd never really been pranked before, and admitted that he should've realised what was happening sooner.

"I was not angry, I'll tell you what happened," he said, and told Rohit that after doing a bit of digging, he realised that he'd seen his prank videos before. "When I found out that I was pranked by you, I was like 'ok, theek hai'." Rohit said that he didn't get scared, because he Rajiv's wife was in on it, although she did warn him not to call him immediately after the prank, because he was 'angry'.
