Bizarre as it may sound, an insurance company in the UK receives claims ranging from theft of sex toys and glasses stolen by a magpie to a bedpost broken during love-making. Insurers in Britain had to pay a bill for thousands of pounds after vibrators from a sex shop were stolen.

Lloyds TSB Insurance paid out for adult toys, pinched from a store in Solihull, West Mids, which could never be recovered. In fact, the company also revealed that it had got claims from a man who alleged that a magpie had stolen his glasses from the bedroom.
There was another claim in which a couple tried to recoup the cash for a bedpost broken during lovemaking. “I never cease to be intrigued by the claims made to us,” the Mirror quoted Lloyds’ Phil Loney as saying.
