Kurt Cobain’s wife Courtney Love has admitted that she considered committing suicide earlier this month.
The singer said that she went into a deep depression a few weeks ago and wanted to jump out of a window and die.
The disclosure by Love sent fans into a shock because two months ago the 45-year-old singer had told media that she is “not suicidal” and that she is staying away from drugs to avoid feeling so, reports The Daily Express.
But Love has now revealed that she is a danger to herself and can harm herself.
"I think a lot of people idealise suicide. I understand it. I had an episode two weeks ago when I was tempted to jump out of a window. I''m not saying why but the reason behind it is self-loathing. You know, wouldn''t it be better if I was not there? I''ve always been pretty self-destructive. I need protection from myself," Love told NME Magazine.
