The JD(U) today rapped RJD chief Lalu Prasad for saying that the Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan is his "least favourite actor".
"It is obvious that Prasad despises whosoever acknowledges development in Bihar and Bachchan is no exception having lavished praised the chief minister Nitish Kumar for presiding over development in the state," JD(U) MLC and chief spokesman Sanjay Singh said in a statement.
The RJD supremo's jibe at the actor was a case of "jealousy" with his archrival Kumar, he said adding the day was not far off when the former will have nobody to say nice words about him as the people are bound to appreciate the NDA government for its work.
Prasad had yesterday described Bachchan Sr as his 'least favourite actor' in response to a query seeking his reaction on the latter's praise of the NDA government during his recent visit to the state capital here for promotion of the film 'Aarakshan.'
