Me and Om are together: Nandita Puri

The couple had grabbed headlines when Nandita made public the details of the actor in her book Om Puri: Unsung Hero and reports of their relationship being on the rocks have dogged the couple since.

Nandita Puri, the journalist wife of veteran actor Om Puri has rubbished reports that her husband has decided to call it quits on their 16-year-long marriage.

The rumour mills have been buzzing ever since a Mumbai tabloid reported that the 59-year-old actor has decided to file for divorce.

"The reports are baseless. We are together," Nandita told PTI. The couple had grabbed headlines when Nandita made public the details of the National Award winning actor's sexual history in her book Om Puri: Unsung Hero and reports of their relationship being on the rocks have dogged the couple since.

"The controversy surrounding the book had just died down when the new report appeared. I don't even want to react to this because it is untrue," said Nandita.
While Puri was not available for comment, his manager Sunil Gaur said, "All is well between the couple. They attended the Jaipur literary festival together and tomorrow they are flying to Kochi to launch the Malayalam edition of his biography."
