Ranbir Kapoor summoned by court for smoking in public

The actor would be booked for violating Section 5 of the Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act.

Udaipur resident Harish Vaishnav filed the complaint against the actor after he spotted pictures of the actor smoking on the movie sets, according to the TV channel.

According to The Rajasthan Prevention of Smoking Act, if a person is found guilty of smoking in public places, he can be sentenced to a maximum imprisonment of six months or a fine of Rs. 200.

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is being directed by Wake Up Sid director Ayan Mukherjee and also stars Deepika Padukone.
