Charu Asopa on being judged for revealing clothes: 'People say as my divorce is getting near, kapde chote ho rahe hai'

Charu Asopa says 'you can't judge someone's character' based on their clothes. She said she is told she can't wear revealing clothes as she is a single mom.

In a recent interview, actor Charu Asopa shared how she is constantly judged for her glamorous photoshoots and revealing clothes as she is a single mother to daughter Ziana. Charu Asopa opened up about how she lost her pregnancy weight within a-year-and-a-half of her daughter's birth. She also hit back at trolls judging her just because she is a mom.

Charu said that she used to wear similar clothes earlier also, but now that she is separated from actor Rajeev Sen, she is judged for her fashion choices. Charu also said she has lost 10 kilos in four months, and is looking slimmer than ever.

"When you are a mother, there's judgement that you can't wear revealing clothes. Some people comment that 'Jaise jaise divorce ka date paas aa raha hai, waise waise kapde chote hote ja rahe hain (as the divorce date is getting near, her clothes are getting shorter)'. I used to wear such clothes before as well but then it was fine. But now it's not because I am a single mother. If I am wearing such clothes, it doesn't mean I don't love my daughter. People say leave all this, focus on the kid," Charu told ETimes.

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen married in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in 2021. However, soon rumours of their separation began doing the rounds. Last year, the couple was on the verge of separation, but decided to give their marriage a second chance. But now they have decided to part ways once again.
