The Capital got a taste of some supermodel glamour at the finals of Ford Models Supermodel of the World-India contest held at the Leela Kempinski in Gurgaon, on Wednesday night.
After beating out 19 other contestants in numerous rounds, model Ninja Singh walked away with the custom designed winner’s trophy by Swarovski. Also there to toast her were actors Bipasha Basu, Gaurav Kapur, Sarah Jane Dias, designers Manish Malhotra, David Abraham, FDCI’s president Sunil Sethi, entrepreneurs Anil Chopra, Sanjay Sharma among many others. Once the winner was duly crowned, guests headed over to restaurant Shiro at Hotel Samrat for the after-party. Dancing up a storm were fashion choreographer Prasad Bidappa designer Mandira Wirk, besides all the contestants. Also spotted were Fever entertainment’s Puja Sharma and HT’s fashion editor Vinod Nair. A model end to a fabulous night.
