Two of Italy’s top designer labels are engaged in the kind of row that Indian fashion sees quite often.
“Now they copy, later they will learn,” Giorgio Armani said of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana aka D&G, accusing them of stealing the design of his padded trousers.
“Surely we still have much to learn, but definitely not from him,” Dolce and Gabbana said in reply. In ‘trousergate’, D&G this week showed quilted and padded trousers in Milan, very similar to what Armani showed last June.
