Duchess Kate’s coloured jeans spark fashion frenzy

The Duchess of Cambridge has once again become a fashion sensation as fans clamour to get hold of her candy-coloured skinny jeans.

She wore them while playing hockey with the Team GB women’s squad in Stratford, east London, on Wednesday.

Bargain versions of the coral denim pants have been flying off the rails in UK shops, the Daily Star reported.

Copycat versions were selling out at Asda George, sales of 14-pound skinny jeans shot up by 471 percent. Sales rocketed even further in the hours after her amazing hockey show.

“We expect the Kate phenomenon to continue as she has now established herself as the ultimate British style icon,” a George spokesman said.
