They are known for their stark attention to detail, and a muse who always invokes endless inspiration and lingers through every seam and every silhouette. Designer duo Shantanu and Nikhil's collections can thus always be cherished for how they dare to do it differenty, while sticking to their signature sensibilities.

Dressed in marble whites, full-bodied ivories and Grecian golds, Shantanu and Nikhil created a set where their Duchess and her entourage indulged themselves in the powder room. We loved the classy simplicity and the spring-lined mood of this room. These ensembles are perfect for a wedding cocktail or a red-carpet event.

Here's a glimpse of some of the couture creations and the flavour underlining them:

(L):While the protagonist of the collection is a woman who stands peerless in strength and class, the men who surround her also have a strong identity of their own. We loved the all-over graphic prints, and the classic bandhgala allure of this look. (C): Apart from lust-worthy designs, Shantanu and Nikhil are known for their eye for detail when it comes to accessories. From tulle-accented headgear at the ball and a gilded headcover around the boudoir, to lace-infused gloves, romance lined these finer details. (R): Re-imagining and re-interpreting set silhouette norms is a signature move by the designers. We loved this contemporary take on the floor-skimming anarkali, rejigged with a reverse graphic print as an inside lining, an asymmetric hem and accessories that range from delicate wrist adornments to a dramatic headgear.

As the spring welcomed prints, florals and petal pinks at the garden tea party, the silhouettes ranged from flouncy and dramatic to signature sights of the fusion lehenga-gown. We also loved the layered, looped kurta and the trademark fusion-sari drape in mocha hues.
