Kangna Ranaut meets Nicole Kidman

Kangna Ranaut was a special invitee at the launch of a clothing line by Italian manufacturer Tod’s in Paris, where she Nicole Kidman was the guest of honour.

At a time when the Bollywood-Hollywood combination is making headlines, here comes another bit of ‘global news’. Actor Kangna Ranaut, who is on a whirlwind tour of Europe, is currently in Paris where she attended the launch of a clothing line by Italian manufacturer Tod’s, a few days ago.

The event, which was held at the Italian embassy in the French capital, had Hollywood star Nicole Kidman as the guest of honour. Says a source close to Kangna, “Tod's was hosting an event during the fashion week to launch their signature collection. There were celebrities from across the world such as Nicole Kidman and Jade Jagger. Tod’s was keen that Kangna represent Bollywood at the event since she’s a fashion icon and her dressing style is widely followed in India.”

Kangna who’s still in Paris, was unavailable for comment, but replied to our text message saying, “The evening in Paris hosted by Tod’s, was very beautiful. Their new signature collection is lovely and it was a pleasure to meet Della Valle. I love Paris and go there a lot. But this trip was different and I enjoyed my visit thoroughly.”
