Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has been signed as the new face of the Italian design house Miu Miu's spring-summer campaign.

Hollywood actress Katie Holmes has been signed as the new face of the Italian design house Miu Miu's spring-summer campaign.

Holmes has replaced the French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis, reports telegraph.co.uk.

In the ads, Holmes portrays "a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality".

Miu Miu has boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, London, Florence, Milan, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, Fukuoka, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei.

It also has plans to open up boutiques in Boston and South Coast Plaza.
