Mascara makes my eyes look fresh and bright: Gauhar Khan

Model-VJ-actor Gauhar Khan, famous for her role in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009) starring Ranbir Kapoor, will now be seen in Yashraj Films’ upcoming Ishaqzaade. Not willing to reveal much about her character yet, the actor is awaiting reactions to her first substantial role.

Model-VJ-actor Gauhar Khan, famous for her role in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009) starring Ranbir Kapoor, will now be seen in Yashraj Films’ upcoming Ishaqzaade. Not willing to reveal much about her character yet, the actor is awaiting reactions to her first substantial role. Glad that her dance number Chokra Jawaan is making waves, she adds, “Ishaqzaade is my second film with Yash Raj and working with National award winner director Habib Faisal was a learning experience. I am looking forward to the film as I not only have a good role, but dance numbers too.”

1 I use a good face wash and remove my make-up before going to bed. Also, I believe in using good products for my face and drinking lots of water to keep my skin hydrated.

2 My make-up routine is very basic. Mascara makes my eyes look very fresh and bright, so I use that on a regular basis. A nice lip gloss completes my look.

3 I believe in using good products that won’t harm your skin. Also, it is very important to keep your skin clean and healthy. Poor hygiene could lead to breakouts or rashes.

4 I always fill in my eyebrows using a coloured eye pencil and never leave them undefined. A great tip I’ve learned is to use mascara to open up eyes. I find that it really helps to highlight the facial features. But most people often ignore this.
