The fashionable and famous gathered at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral to pay their respects to design icon Alexander McQueen on Monday.

magazine’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and actor Sarah Jessica Parker took a break from the British capital’s ongoing fashion week to pay a tribute to the designer, who committed suicide in February this year.
Many guests wore McCartney outfits. The 40-year-old had a history of depression and was devastated by his mother’s recent death. McQueen became chief designer at the Givenchy house in 1996, but was better known for his own label.
He became famous for dramatic and often hard-to-define creations. They never sold in great numbers, but his was one of fashion’s best-known brands.
