Some days it so happens that there isn’t one bad show. On the contrary, the day is full of good shows. Day 2 of the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week was one such day. While there were plenty of good shows, off the ramp models complained of lack of facilities for food as the organisers seem to have asked them not to have food from their hotel and travel all the way from Shangri La Hotel where they’re being put up to the venue for daily meals.

It is true that at other fashion weeks, food is offered neither to the media nor models. So this time, when the organisers decided not to, it apparently caused the models severe inconvenience. "The arrangements are so weird that we almost decided to walk out," some models said. "And if it weren’t for our designer friends, we would have. Even the restrooms are so dirty that some of us didn't go anywhere close to them!" However, good collections by brought the lost smiles back on everyone's faces. Some of the highlights are:Pero by Aneet Arora: This young designer showed her collection in a monochromatic colour palette with a clean, fresh appearance.

My Village by Rimzim Dadu: Another young designer, Rimzim has now become well known for her textures and finely crafted creations.

Morphe by Amit Aggarwal: He has become one of the most revered showmen. His creations were somewhat overwhelming with their avant-garde appeal and showed his ability to create things that can stand out.

Pankaj & Nidhi: Their collections have always been really pretty and extremely well finished. This time, they made appliqués look like prints on garments.

Wendell Rodricks: Wendell, whose trademark has always been clean and straight lines, this time brought in the essence of Goa in his crisp creations with stripes, especially the saris.

Other shows included those of Anand Bhushan, Anju Modi and Kallol Dutta and an accessory presentation by Little Shilpa.
