When the former Spice Girls star launched her first collection for her Victoria Beckham line in 2008, she was met with a lot of opposition as people just assumed she was another celebrity putting her name to a clothing range. However, she said she has won over her critics because she refused to compromise with her creations, reported Contactmusic.

"I'm very aware of people's preconceptions. But the product spoke for itself. When I was starting out I remember Marc Jacobs saying, 'As long as the quality is great, then people can say it's not their personal taste, but they can't say that it's rubbish.' And that's very true," Beckham said.
