Unless you live under a rock, you’ve definitely seen the chatter on social media about Vogue India’s 10th anniversary issue. The magazine brought American model Kendall Jenner and the famous Peruvian-born fashion photographer Mario Testino together for the special issue a few months ago. Now that the pictures are out, they’re setting the Internet on fire.
Testino’s aesthetics, paired with the effortless style of Kendall Jenner and Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, have garnered much praise, with almost everyone going gaga over how great they look.
But, as much as people are celebrating the 10th anniversary issue, there’s a bunch that asks why the magazine got Kendall Jenner (who is Kim Kardashian’s half-sister) to shoot for an issue that ‘celebrates India’, when it could have easily just opted for one of the many beautiful Indian faces instead.
