No way the fans of Liverpool can forget the howlers made by their German goalkeeper Loris Karius in the final of the Champions League earlier this year.

Karius erred not once but twice against Real Madrid as Liverpool could never recover from those errors made by their goalkeeper. Karius gifted goals to Real Madrid players Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, with the latter scoring two in the contest.
Bale had come off the bench twice to score against Liverpool as Real Madrid made a hat-trick of Champions League wins, in the final played at Kiev.

Karius immediately apologised to the Liverpool fans who had travelled in great numbers to watch the final.
But after a long break, it does not look like the goalkeeper has recovered from the setback that he had suffered.
In a pre-season friendly for Liverpool against Tranmere Rovers, who play in the fourth-tier league in England, Karius made a similar mistake which allowed the opponents to score after his team had taken a 3-0 lead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=10&v=hnEucMxe7aw
A straight strike from Tranmere’s Ollie Norburn hit Karius right on his chest, but instead of being able to stop the ball, the goalkeeper saw it bouncing off him. The ball rolled on to Tranmere’s Jonny Smith, who took the opportunity of netting the goal comfortably.
