A home removed from the chaos in Gurugram

Residents of Mapsko Casa Bella — a condominium with 25 floors, which was built in 2016 and comprises 11 towers spread across a sprawling 19 acres, say they don’t mind that their home is quite a distance away from the main city.

As you steer your way towards the newer, more upcoming sectors of Gurugram, the landscape changes drastically — from tall buildings to large, empty plots and farms. One wouldn’t expect a large number of people living here. But one such area, Sector 82, is proof that another city is growing within the city. And there stands tall Mapsko Casa Bella — a condominium with 25 floors — which more than 2,500 people call home.

Residents of the condominium, which was built in 2016 and comprises 11 towers spread across a sprawling 19 acres, say they don’t mind that their home is quite a distance away from the main city.

“Gurugram is expanding so fast. In a few years, the new sectors would be as populated and bustling as the main city,” a resident said, adding that affordable housing and the quiet around were the main reasons behind him moving there.

Other residents say they don’t mind being away from the main city because they have all provisions within walking distance. Right next to the main entrance of the condominium are grocery and vegetable shops. A shopping arcade with a movie theatre, meanwhile, is right in front of the Casa Bella.

Casa Bella has a club with a gymnasium, a spa, a sauna, a table-tennis room, carom and chess room, a tennis court and a squash court.

A children’s playing area is designated along with a walking and jogging track. The condo premises also houses a small temple, which is managed by residents.

Due to the distance of the condominium, security is an important feature in Casa Bella, said residents. The condominium has several CCTV cameras installed and guards patrol the premises throughout day and night.

According to residents, the condo celebrates events like no other.

Most of the events take place in the club, and their Christmas celebration received great response, said residents. Every event sees participation from residents where they put up food stalls, games stalls etc.
