The former chief minister of Haryana and president of the Indian National Lok Dal, Om Prakash Chautala, was admitted to Medanta-The Medicity for a pacemaker implant surgery on Thursday morning.

The 78-year-old leader of opposition at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha is likely to undergo surgery in the next two days, said a senior official at the hospital.
“We are still investigating his case. A date has not been fixed for the surgery yet,” said the senior official. HTC
