An engineer was arrested for allegedly raping a 23-year-old woman on the pretext of marrying her. The woman filed a complaint at the Palam Vihar police station on Friday. The accused was arrested on Friday and will be presented in court on Monday.

The accused has been identified as Rohit (25), hailing from Jhajjar, who works as an engineer with a private firm.
According to the police, the woman had met the accused two years ago when she was looking for jobs.
Rohit allegedly raped the victim for two years giving her false promises of marriage. The police are conducting further investigations in the matter.
