The scheme neither allows allotment of two plots nor sale of plots.

"I am helpless and have just taken charge of EO (estate office) 2. I have not seen the RTI copies nor has any one complained to me. But I do not deny the fact that such wrong practices happen," said Narender Singh Yadav, estate officer, Huda.

A copy of the RTI is with Hindustan Times. It also discloses admittance of this practice by Huda estate officer.

Rajiv Lamba, deputy superintendent in estate office, admitted that the two plots in sector 45 and 47 were sold by the beneficiary in contravention of the benefit scheme.

"Since the plots have been sold twice since then, there is no point of action… and it is very difficult to cancel the allotment as it is under a scheme approved by the central and state governments," stated the RTI.
