Gurgaon: Huda will transfer funds to MCG by March 15

There are 30 Huda plotted sectors in Gurgaon of which 22 sectors have been transferred to the MCG only for maintenance purposes.

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) said it will be able to transfer funds to the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon as per the sector transfer agreement (MCG) only by March 15.

The Huda Gurgaon office has sent its reconciliation report to chief finance officer, Huda, Chandigarh, with details of revenue collected by it on a monthly basis. The Huda will have to transfer 75% of the funds to the MCG as per sector transfer agreement signed in March 2016.

There are 30 Huda plotted sectors of which 22 sectors have been transferred to the MCG only for maintenance purposes.

A senior Huda accounts official said the chief account officer, Chandigarh, had sought a report from Gurgaon Huda office with regard to the total revenue collection and sharing the amount in 75:25 ratio.

“We have sent our report and we have also requested to update the details of transferred sectors on the data base of Huda Chandigarh. Since everything is online, we have to update the details of transferred sectors on the main server of the Huda at Chandigarh too,” the accounts official said.

The office of the chief controller of finance, Huda, Panchkula, had on January 31 received letter from the MCG. The chief controller had sought a report from the local Huda office.

The letter of the chief controller said, “Huda Gurgaon office submit report of the past one year almost (March to January) and thereafter report should be forwarded latest by 10th of every month. (sic)”

The agreement stated that the Huda extension fee, transfer fee and other recoveries related to plots would be shared with 75% of revenue going to the MCG and 25% to the Huda.
