The crime branch team of the Gurgaon police arrested the prime accused and his accomplice wanted in the Farrukhnagar double murder case from Dwarka in Delhi on Tuesday.

The duo -- Ved Saini, 47 and Jagdish, 52 -- was arrested, while they were trying to escape from national capital, police said.
Two men were killed and one person was seriously injured when unidentified persons in a car opened fire on a property dealer’s office in Farrukhnagar town, 25 kms from Gurgaon on February 23. Investigation revealed that the shootout was orchestrated on the behest of Ved Saini. Three other accused in the case are still absconding.
Police did not seize any weapons or vehicle from the accused. They will be produced in a court on Wednesday and police may seek a three-day remand for the duo.
“We arrested the prime accused from Dwarka and crime branch teams are working to arrest the other three accused, who have been identified. They were planning to flee from the city,” Sanjeev Balhara, ACP (crime), said.
