Log on MCG site to know development plan in area

Now, you can know the development plans of the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) in advance and register your suggestions and objections to the plans immediately with the competent authority. The MCG has asked SharedReach, the company responsible for the MCG portal 'Pragati', to update the plans of all four zones on 'Pragati' and give the public access.

Sudhir Rajpal, the MCG commissioner, directed the engineering wing officials to extend all possible help to the portal management, in a meeting on Friday. "All this will take a week or two. A meeting will be held on Monday for updates, followed by a training programme for RWAs, officials and media for using the web portal," said a senior MCG official.

"People will know about upcoming plans and suggest changes," said the commissioner. On the portal, people could previously access MCG's plans under-execution only.

"In financial year 2012-13, all development plans under MCG's budget would be uploaded within a week and people would be able to update them by simply clicking on the portal," said a SharedReach official.
