The owners of the restaurant had moved the court recently after the mall authorities disconnected its power supply on December 25.

On the other hand, the mall management had moved an application that the issue was fit for arbitration and should not be contested in the court.

Owing to security reasons, the mall management had refused to allow Mud Pot restaurant to run its operations.

However, the owners of Mud Pot restaurant claimed the trouble began when they procured a liquor licence two months ago, a move objected to by the mall management.

But the mall management claimed the move had been taken due to the law and order problem, especially at night.
