Passion makes them stick to stamp love

Aryash, a resident of Rewari, is the youngest participant in the ongoing state-level philatelic exhibition – Parindey 2012.

A student of Delhi Public School, Rewari, he took interest in stamps after seeing his mother’s collection. At present, he has 150 stamps of 31 countries.

Aryash says, “My mother has been interested in stamps. Stamp collection is my passion. My parents support me in this.” His parents spend about R3,000 every month on stamps. He has some rare Indian stamps also in his collection.

Charvi Gupta, Class 11 student of Blue Bird Model Senior Secondary School, has more than 300 stamps. But she has only displayed only 100 stamps in the show.

Charvi says, “Each stamp has a story to tell. We can understand a lot about our history through stamps.”

The show has attracted many visitors and would come to end on Thursday.
