"The citizens of Gurgaon, along with the traffic police, HSIIDC, Huda and MCG have been very cooperative when it comes to the city's traffic problems but NHAI and DS Constructions have not been helping in anyway," said Mittal, while addressing nearly 50 traffic personnel and road safety officers.

The meeting was called to ideate over how to better Gurgaon's traffic situation. Mittal emphasised on the use of e-challans and directed his subordinates to work harder at busy crossings such as Mahavir Chowk, Jharsa Chowk, Rajiv Chowk and Iffco Chowk.

In addition, Mittal has directed his subordinates to conduct awareness programmes on road safety in schools, colleges and corporate institutions.
