DCP (Crime) Rajesh Duggal informed the media that inspector Sanjeev Balhara of the Crime Branch got a tip-off on Saturday that two members of a gang, involved in stealing transformers at several locations in Badshahpur, Bilaspur and Farrukhnagar, would be going from Gurgaon to Farrukhnagar on a recee. The informer had told balhara that the duo would be travelling on a red motorcycle and could be nabbed near the Dhankot canal.

Acting on the information, a team was constituted under the leadership of ASI Ajay Singh, which ultimately nabbed the two after putting up a police check near the approach to the canal.
