More than 200 residents of Vatika city, a condominium at Sohna Road, protested against the builder over inadequate security on Saturday.

This is the second such protest in the past 10 days. The area houses around 1,100 families. The residents said the builder should keep his promise of maintaining proper security arrangement in the area. They alleged that the builder had not provided the facilities that he had promised before handing over the apartments to them.
Vikas Gupta, general secretary, Apartment Buyers' Association of Vatika City, said, “Security arrangements are deteriorating here. The maintenance charges have been hiked twice, the last of 38% in November 2011.” Despite repeated attempts Rajender Yadav, estate manager of Vatika City, was not available.
