A 27-year-old doctor working with a private insurance company in Delhi allegedly attempted suicide at a metro station in Gurgaon on Monday.

The incident, which took place at the Guru Dronacharya metro station at 8am, disrupted services on the line for about 10 minutes.
While officials denied it was a suicide attempt, CCTV footage showed the woman jumping on the tracks when the train pulled into the station. She was taken to a hospital with multiple fractures. Her condition is now stable, a police officer said.
