Allergies are common during some parts of the year. Here're ways to avoid them.
1 The Sinus-situs: A common problem in the late winter months is due to a swollen sinus. The best way to keep it under control is by drinking plenty of water.

2 Food for thought: Avoid foods such as milk, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, banana, cucumber and eggs as these items can cause an allergic reaction and aggravate your asthma. Have more of fresh fruit juices and green tea as these boost your immunity.
3 Fatty food: Eat soya bean, pumpkin seeds, walnuts and salmon, which are rich in omega 3 fatty acids — rich in natural anti-
inflammatory properties.
4 Eliminate allergies: Keep your house dust-free to ward off allergies. Change your sheets frequently.
5 Pet owners: If you have pets, keep them well-groomed to eliminate dander.
