Mobile radiation
The radiation from mobile phones could help children to think more clearly, says a new study.
If you thought that mobile radiation could only be harmful, think again, for the head of Britain's Parent Teacher Associations has claimed that this radiation can in fact set your child's grey cells ticking.
According to The Daily mail, David Butler, has claimed that the radiation from mobile phones could help children to think more clearly, and that handsets do not pose any health hazards for the kids.
"From a perspective of pupil performance it can enhance things, because that heating effect actually improves the neuron transfers between neural pathways, and therefore your thinking ability goes up," he was quoted by the paper, as saying.
While speaking at an event hosted by mobile phone giant O2 at the Liberal Democrats' party conference in Bournemouth , Butler strongly refuted the warnings that restrict youngsters' mobile phone use.
Butler revealed that he had been provided the scientific evidence regarding this by a British professor, however, he did not divulge the name of the scientist.
"I have yet to see there is actually evidence that that would create a health problem. But I mean, even frankly if there was, I would still be wanting to weigh up what someone was telling me about a health problem against the other benefits that that technology was giving," he added.
"I personally have not seen any piece of paper that says to me there is a health risk, which would give me concern," he said.
