Mallika Sherawat just seems to know what to do, and when. Taking to microblogging website Twitter, rechristening herself as MallikaLA (her Twitter id) and now a putting up a profile picture draped in nothing but the American flag — the actress has certainly mastered the tricks of the trade. And with a conspicuous change in the lingo, Madame Sherawat is all for Americanisation now.
Thanks to Jennifer Lynch’s Hisss — the editing of which took Mallika to the US — the Murder-actress has made Hollywood her home. Hailing from Rohtak in Haryana and with not many hits to her credit, Sherawat now visits phoren celebrity fests, and even tells the world about her chance meetings with Hollywood A-listers — that include filmmaker Danny Boyle, Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp and R&B star Usher. “James Cameron said to me, ‘Forget about everything else, just shine in ur craft. Give it ur all!’ ...Twords to live by:)” is how Sherawat announced her neeting with the Avatar director.
The stunner also knows how to create hype. Replying to a tweet about Hisss, she tweets: “I show more of my assetts in Hisss than ever b4!”
And the results of her efforts are showing — Sherawat already has Love, Barack with Avatar actor Laz Alonso.
