Television’s favourite couple, Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh have revealed the dates for their upcoming wedding and other ceremonies.
Giving D-day details Aamir says, “On February 29, we will be having our sangeet and mehendi ceremony. The next function will be held on March 1, a big reception cum party for our friends.”
The 32-year-old adds, “The celebrations will then continue and on March 2 we will have our nikaah in the mosque and at night there will be a reception.”
On being asked about the preparations given their hectic schedules, he says, “Honestly, both of us have been busy completing our shoots and as a result we hardly have any time for the preparations.”
Though the couple, who met for the first time at a friend’s party, have been in a relationship for the past six years, it was only in November last year that Aamir popped the question with a customised diamond engagement ring.
Sanjeeda, 27, says, “Aamir’s proposal was the best moment of my life. It’s so amazing that our relationship is culminating in marriage.”
While the bride-to-be is currently working with Sahara One’s Piya Ka Ghar Pyara Lage, Aamir is busy with F.I.R. on SAB TV.
