Borenstein tapped for writing new Godzilla

Directed by Gareth Edwards of the Monsters fame, the new remake is currently under development at Legendary Pictures, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Though initially, David Goyer (The Dark Knight) worked on the script, it has been reported that Max Borenstein has now been approached to write it instead.

Godzilla

Borenstein is seen as an up-and-coming scriptwriter, closely associated with Legendary Pictures. He recently turned in a draft of Art of the Steal and is also working on a Jimi Hendrix biopic for the Studio.
