The Ghost Rider star threw movie bosses into a panic when he dropped out of the film 14 days before the cameras were due to roll.

The shoot was pushed back to allow producers time to find a replacement, but the actor is back on board the film project that is now due to begin shooting on Aug 30, reports imdb.com.

The film will see Cage and Nicole Kidman as a married couple kidnapped under strange circumstances.
