Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger

Seven years of blissful marriage between actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger turned ugly when Basinger accused Alec Baldwin of emotional and physical abuse. Alec’s brother Billy even called Basinger a ‘nutcase’.The two divorced in 2002 and despite the divorce coming through, the feud between the two actors continued for the custody of their daughter Ireland.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore

Actor Ashton Kutcher’s fling with the 22-year-old San Diego-based administrative assistant Sara Leal was the breaking point for his six -year-old marriage with Demi Moore. The two separated in 2011 and their divorce was finalised in 2013, which was not before Ashton was accused of having a series of flings while staying married to Moore. Following the split, the latter was even hospitalised for a while.

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards

Actor Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were always in the limelight and their marriage finally reached an ugly end after four years. Through the course of their marriage, Richards accused Sheen of abusing her. In one of the many leaked ‘drunk’ texts by Sheen, the actor had asked Richards to “get cancer” and “rot in hell”.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard

Barely 15 months into their marriage and Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp of physical and mental abuse. Her allegations were called baseless by Depp’s lawyer, who further accused Heard and said that the actor “is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”

Paul McCartney and Heather Mills

As soon as British musician Paul McCartney married former model Heather Mills, friends of the former Beatles member accused Mills of being a ‘gold digger’. A few years later Mills went through a divorce battle with McCartney, which resulted in Mills walking away with 48.6 million dollars (Rs. 325 crore approx)
