Disney’s The Lion King hits Indian screens on July 29 much ahead of its US release.

Simba, Mufasa, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa will be back in 3D in Disney’s The Lion King that comes on Indian screens on July 29, months before its release in the US that is on September 16. The Lion King, first released in 1994, won the Oscar® for Best Original Score and Best Original Song. “India is a priority market for Walt Disney Studios... We are thrilled to be releasing Lion King in 3D,” says Seshasaye Kanthamraju, Executive Director, Marketing and Distribution, Walt Disney Studios, India.
