From Harry Potter to Now You See Me: Daniel Radcliffe’s magical movies

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, who is essaying the role of a villain named Walter in the American magic caper thriller film Now You See Me 2, feels differently of how the audience would take to his role.

He said he didn’t feel that there was “too much of a crossover” between the world of magic that the Harry Potter films inhabit with that of Now You See Me 2, reports ew.com.

“I don’t think of things in those terms. Obviously, the Harry Potter films are connected with magic, but the world of magic they inhabit is so different from the one Now You See Me inhabits that it didn’t feel like there was too much of a crossover,” Radcliffe said.

“Working with that group of actors was extraordinary and was one of the attractive things about doing the film,” he said.

“I have looked up to people like Mark Ruffalo, and Woodly Harrelson, and, indeed, Jesse Eisenberg. I have always loved Jesse’s work, so to get to work with him was fantastic,” Radcliffe added.

Now You See Me 2 will release in India on June 17.
